I never thought that an American-Korean Burger/Sushi/Bulgogi restaurant would be a place that I frequent. And yet, nestled near the front Gate of McChord AFB in Lakewood is just such a place! Their generous burgers are made-to-order fresh and come with a generous helping of regular or curly fries. My fav burger is the Hawaiian. This masterful sammich is topped with a pineapple ring, slathered with teriyaki sauce and is accompanied by fresh lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onion. Their spicy pork bulgogi is a wee bit spicy, but well worth the tums later. The star of their sushi line-up is the Lakewood Roll that comes replete with imitation crab, avocado and a bevy of delicious sauces. No matter what they prepare, it is all delicious. The gracious couple that operates the joint has a bit of a hard time speaking English, but they make up for it with smiles and a willingness to please their customers. Stop in for a great burger and stay for a sushi roll. Prices start at $5.55 for a burger & fries and sushi for $4.95 – whatever you choose, this place makes great eats!
