Peanut Butter Pie

Quick and easy recipe! I had one little slice before the family ate it all. This recipe if very peanut buttery, so be sure to have some milk with your slice of pie!

Ingredients

1-1/4 cup chocolate cookie crumbs (20 cookies)

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

 

Filling:

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

Grated chocolate or chocolate cookie crumbs, optional

 

Directions:

In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and sugar; stir in butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-in. pie plate. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

For filling, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Gently spoon into crust. Garnish with chocolate or cookie crumbs if desired. Store in refrigerator.
