If you own and occupy a single family home in Lakewood and meet income guidelines based on household size, the City of Lakewood may be able to assist you. The programs are not available for mobile homes in parks or for homes with reverse mortgage financing. Programs offer assistance replacing roofs and windows, weatherization upgrades such as installing insulation, energy efficient heating systems, water saving plumbing fixtures, making electrical and plumbing repairs, making accessibility improvements such as wheelchair ramps or the removal of architectural barriers, replacing siding and painting your home to make it look new again.
