Pierce County Real Estate Statistics for January 2013

As of January 2013, you notice the negative % change in listings, this means there are less homes for sale as compared to January 2012. Whereas, you will can see a positive % change in the number of closed sales and the median price. What does this mean? Basic principal of supply and demand – supply (# of homes for sale) is decreasing while demand is driving up the price in most of Pierce County.
